Personalized Care Catered to
Each Individual.
Treatment at Peak Performance is centered around you, the patient. We take an evidence based approach to care that first looks at your symptoms and presentation. From there, we perform a comprehensive movement assessment that aims to get to the bottom of why your pain/injury occurred in the first place.
Once we get an overall idea of what is going on and what needs to be addressed, we develop a plan of care that aims to get you out of pain first and foremost. This is achieved through various modalities such as shockwave therapy, muscle scraping (IASTM), cupping, ART (Active Release Technique), adjusting/manipulation, and therapeutic exercise.
When we get to a point where pain is decreased, we start to reintroduce movement that gets you functioning better overall and ultimately moving pain-free. At this point, we want to get you back to doing what you’ve been missing out on because of your injury. It’s at this stage that treatment starts to look more like rehab with an emphasis on mobility (range of motion), stability, and global functional movements.
The last part of our treatment plan will aim to build your resiliency to prevent future reoccurrences. This is when treatment looks more like strength and conditioning. It is a vital step in the process that cannot be overlooked if we are to get you back to peak performance. Whether you’re an extremely active individual that participates in sports and works out at the gym or if you’re a retiree that just wants to be able to get down on the ground to play with your grandchildren, we want to ensure that you’re resilient enough to continue doing the things you love and living life to the fullest.
